How the Accreditation Process Works

To begin your application, complete the form and upload your Impact Report, ensuring it aligns with the SBA Reporting Standard. This document outlines the required ESG topics and disclosures and explains how your application will be assessed as part of the accreditation process. Submitting a report that clearly follows this standard will significantly improve the likelihood of a smooth and successful review.

Once your form and report are submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation notification along with login details to access your SBA account (if you're not already a member). Within 48 hours, we’ll follow up to confirm receipt and schedule an initial screening call to review your application and answer any questions you may have.

If your application is ready to proceed, we’ll issue an invoice. The verification process will begin upon receipt of payment and typically takes between 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, your Impact Report will be reviewed and scored, and selected disclosures will be independently verified for credibility and completeness.

At the end of the process, we’ll confirm whether your accreditation has been approved. If successful, you’ll receive formal confirmation along with supporting materials. If not, you’ll have the opportunity to revise and resubmit your report at 50% of the original fee, provided this is done within three months of the outcome notification.
