Launch of the draft SBA Impact Reporting Standard Framework

We are pleased to announce that the draft SBA Impact Reporting Standard Framework is now available for consultation and voluntary use.

This pre-official release represents an important milestone for the Sustainable Business Alliance, as we work to develop a practical, credible and accessible approach to sustainability reporting. Designed to be a landmark step in simplifying sustainability disclosures — particularly for smaller businesses — this framework seeks to cut through the complexity that often surrounds reporting standards, enabling companies to focus on what matters most.

By launching this draft, we are inviting members, partners and other stakeholders to explore the framework, pilot it within their own organisations, and provide feedback that will help us refine and finalise it ahead of a formal release later this year.

We welcome participation in this process. If you would like to be more closely involved, we are also forming a small sounding board group to gather more detailed feedback and ensure the framework is practical and effective across different types of businesses.

We look forward to working together to develop a tool that makes sustainability simpler, more meaningful, and ultimately more impactful for businesses of all sizes.
