Reporting Framework

Reporting Framework

Our simple reporting framework defines key ESG topics and basic disclosures which can be incorporated into your reporting. These disclosures are benchmarked against existing standards and frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Some topics may not be applicable to your business, therefore we recommend conducting a materiality assessment to help you define which topics are relevant and should therefore be considered for reporting.

For material topics, we suggest reporting policies, goals and targets you have in place in addition to the disclosures outlined below. You might also want to include a description of your management approach for each topic and details of any programmes or initiatives you are running to help you to achieve your goals and targets.

B Corp Services

What is B Corp certification?

The B Corp certification is a third-party accreditation that verifies companies that demonstrate that they are meeting the highest environmental and social performance standards, not only through their product or service, but across all aspects of their operations.

The B Corp movement has seen significant growth in recent years, with the number of B Corps in the UK doubling to 2,000 in the 18 months to May 2024. This shows the appetite from companies to understand, measure and improve the impact they have on their stakeholders.
To become a certified B Corporation, companies must complete the B Impact Assessment (BIA) and reach a target of 80 points. It is a challenging but rewarding process and helps businesses develop a framework to develop best practice across all aspects of their operations.

B Corp Consultancy
